For Emergencies, 24/7 CALL 911
Priority 1 – Emergencies or disasters with immediate danger to life, property, or the environment. The need for Police, Fire, EMS services include: threats to life or limb, medical/health emergencies, and crime-in-progress.
For Urgent Need of a Police Officer, 24/7 Police Dispatch CALL 435-627-4300
Priority 2 – Non-emergency incidents/accidents. This includes: investigations, interviews, witness contacts, lost property, vehicle and building lockouts, police escorts, petty theft, graffiti, roadway/traffic/parking problems.

Priority 3 – General University information and services. This includes: victim advocacy, police records, fingerprinting, notary, Utah criminal history checks, complaints, and Safety & Risk Department assistance.

It’s recommended that you read the step-by-step directions below.
If you’re coming from St. George Blvd (heading west):
Turn left onto 700 East (also known as University Avenue). Continue south on 700 East until you reach 300 South (Trailblazer Blvd). Turn left onto 300 South, then make an immediate right into Parking Lot M (a large lot on your right). Drive south through the lot, toward the Anthony Burns offices. University Police is located in the northeast corner of the Anthony Burns building—near the row of palm trees, just south of the Holland Library.
If you’re coming from Bluff Street/700 South:
Travel east on 700 South, then turn left onto 700 East (University Avenue). Continue north on 700 East until you reach 300 South (Trailblazer Blvd). Turn right onto 300 South, then make an immediate right into Parking Lot M (a large lot on your right). Drive south through the lot, toward the Anthony Burns offices. University Police is located in the northeast corner of the Anthony Burns building—near the row of palm trees, just south of the Holland Library.
Parking Information:
For fingerprint services, if available, park in a parking stall marked University Police, otherwise park in a green marked Visitor parking stall.

- Police Escort:
- If a student, staff, or faculty member feels unsafe walking alone on campus, an officer will respond to their location and escort them to their on-campus destination.
- Vehicle or Building Lockouts:
- In the event a student, staff, or faculty member is locked out of a campus building/room or their vehicle, an officer will assist in providing access once valid photo identification and authorization is produced.
- Vehicle Jumpstarts:
- In the event the vehicle of a student, staff, or faculty member will not start, an officer will respond to the campus location and attempt to jumpstart the vehicle.
