Product Fee Description
Accident and Police Reports $15 Reports may take up to ten (10) business days to be released per the GRAMA law. Photo identification is required. There is no charge for victims of domestic violence. Contact policerecords@utahtech.edu to submit request.
Standard Photo (jpg, png, pdf) $5 Includes standard-resolution images delivered via email or disc.
Audio/Video/Photos Recordings & Photographs $25 Includes routine review and redaction, if required.  For high-resolution content or large files requiring alternate delivery.
Criminal History – Municipal Services $10 Municipal Services in Utah (City/County/State)
Criminal History – Volunteers & Citizens $15 Volunteers in Utah (City/County/State, Private Organizations) & Citizens interested in obtaining a copy of their own Utah Criminal History)
LiveScan Fingerprinting – direct submission to BCI $20 LiveScan Fingerprinting-direct submission to BCI (Bureau of Criminal Identification). Physical cards not included.
LiveScan Fingerprinting – not direct submission, Print Cards $25 Includes two FD-258 cards (not for Driver Privilege)
LiveScan Fingerprinting – not direct submission, Print Cards for Driver Privilege $30 Includes two FD-258 cards & photo (for Driver Privilege)
LiveScan Fingerprinting – Church Mission $45 Includes two FD-258 cards, Utah Criminal History, & Notary
LiveScan Fingerprinting – not direct submission, Print Cards for TSA/Flight School $40 Includes four FD-258 cards.
Notary $5 The $5 fee is for each document that needs to be notarized.

Additional Information:

  • All fees must be paid prior to the release of records.
  • Requests for police reports may take up to ten (10) business days to process.
  • There’s no charge for victims of domestic violence.
  • Fees for police reports may be waived or reduced in accordance with Utah Code 63G-2-203(3).

Delivery Options:

  • Most police records can be delivered electronically via email.
  • For large files, USB drives, discs, or secure links may be used depending on the file size and content sensitivity.
